Nashville's Country Radio Seminar (CRS) recently witnessed a double dose of good deeds, as Eric Church and Luke Combs snagged the 2025 Artist Humanitarian Award. These North Carolina natives weren't just strumming guitars; they were strumming heartstrings, raising a staggering $24 million for Hurricane Helene relief.

The driving force? A whirlwind "Concert for Carolina" at Bank of America Stadium, drawing a record-breaking 82,000 fans in just 28 days. The star-studded lineup, including James Taylor, Keith Urban and many more who amplified the impact.

Church, through Chief Cares, is building 100 homes in Avery County and donating royalties from his album "Darkest Hour." "Their dedication to helping North Carolina recover... shows just how much they care," said CRB Awards Committee Chair Beverlee Brannigan. Combs and his team are directing funds to organizations like Samaritan’s Purse, ensuring aid reaches those who need it most.

“Eric Church and Luke Combs’ love for their home state has been nothing short of inspiring,” Brannigan stated, highlighting their "genuine compassion." From building homes to feeding families, these country stars proved their hearts are as big as their hits. They join a prestigious list of past recipients include Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, and Carrie Underwood, proving that in country music, giving back is always in tune.
