Oklahoma has long been fertile ground for country music legends, and our latest Country Bios rankings confirm the Sooner State's powerhouse status! Using our proprietary algorithm, we've crunched the numbers, and it's clear Oklahoma breeds country music royalty.

Leading the Oklahoma pack is Muskogee native Carrie Underwood (#13 overall). Since blasting onto the scene after winning American Idol, Underwood has become a global superstar with powerhouse vocals and countless hits. Right behind her is Ada's own Blake Shelton (#14). From chart-topping singles to charming audiences on The Voice, Shelton's Oklahoma roots run deep – he still spends plenty of time back home.

No list of Oklahoma greats is complete without Tulsa-born Garth Brooks (#17). This stadium-filling icon changed the game with his electrifying performances and record-shattering sales. We also honor the legacy of Clinton's Toby Keith (#45), whose unmistakable voice and proud Oklahoma spirit resonated with millions. And let's not forget the "Queen of Country" herself, McAlester's Reba McEntire (#48), a true entertainment mogul and beloved Oklahoman.

The talent doesn't stop there! Norman's Vince Gill (#53) continues to impress, while newer faces like Josh Meloy (#108), Stillwater's Wyatt Flores (#127), and Bixby's Corey Kent (#145) prove the state's country music future is bright.

From Muskogee to McAlester, Oklahoma artists consistently deliver chart-topping hits and capture the hearts of fans worldwide. It must be something in that red dirt!
