Luke Combs is officially a streaming giant. Just a blink after his "When It Rains It Pours" hit a billion streams on Spotify, his 2018 smash, "Beautiful Crazy," joined the club. Combs is now the first country artist to boast two billion-stream songs on the platform. Talk about a double dose of success!
"Beautiful Crazy" joins an elite list, becoming the eighth country track to achieve this feat. It's rubbing shoulders with hits like Morgan Wallen's "Last Night," Chris Stapleton's "Tennessee Whiskey," and Zach Bryan's "Something in the Orange." To put it in perspective, since its 2018 release, "Beautiful Crazy" has averaged over 400,000 streams daily. That's a lot of folks feeling the love!
And let's not forget the financial side. Estimates suggest Combs has raked in a cool $3-5 million from Spotify alone. Not too shabby!
On X, Combs joked, “Ayyyyy!!! Does that make me a quote unquote ‘Multi-Billionaire’.”
While Combs is the first to this particular milestone, he won't be lonely for long. Wallen and Bryan are hot on his heels, with hits like "Whiskey Glasses" and "I Remember Everything" quickly racking up streams. It seems the billion-stream club is about to get a whole lot more crowded.
