Dwight Yoakam, born in 1956, is a country music icon known for his distinctive "Bakersfield sound." He gained fame in the late 80s with albums like "Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc." and "Hillbilly Deluxe." His hit songs, such as "Streets of Bakersfield" (with Buck Owens), solidified his place in country music. He won a Grammy for "Ain't That Lonely Yet". He has also recieved many other nominations from Grammy and CMA awards.
